Having troubles with your game's performance?
- Make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements for The Sims 2 and that you have the latest drivers installed (video and sound card).
- If you are running the disc version of the game, try reinstalling DirectX from your disc, you may find it on the root folder. Alternatively, you can visit www.microsoft.com to download the latest version.
- If the game is still running slow, try reducing the quality of some of the video and sound settings within the game (game options menu).
- Reducing screen resolution may also help.
- Disable any background tasks your PC is running, except the EADM application.
