Update: In March 2026, EA introduced the Marketplace and all previously released kits where moved there. I decided to keep these kits separately, on a different tab (Kits), just as a record of what was their release order till March 2026. I will not monitor the release of kits added directly to the Markeplace, as we may receive 10 kits per month or 10 kits per day... Thanks for your understanding!

ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to update this as more and more packs have released. I am currently playing a save where I add one pack per generation, and this has made it so much easier to figure out the order I need to add what pack!

ReplyDeleteI cannot tell exactly how many Gbs are needed for all these packs! What I can tell is that for me the installation files (just the installation files, mods/downloads not included) take 80Gbs and I don't have several kits installed. Keep in mind though that kits don't use so much space, so you might need up to 5 additional Gbs (i.e. 85Gbs total) to have them all.
DeleteThe Kits will be moved to the marked place. Does that mean you will remove them from the official Release order? I think it would be better because they are not really packs, just like the sims 3 Store.

You are probably right! It might be a nightmare to keep up with future kits releases, lol. But for the time being I "will sit back and wait" for The Sims 4 Marketplace to launch on March 17, 2026. One thought is to keep kits already released separately (different tab for example) just as a reminder of how it was working before March 17, 2026 and make a note of what has been changed. Let's see how it will work when The Sims 4 Marketplace goes live :). Thanks for your comment and suggestion, very much appreciated :) Any other suggestions (from yourself or anyone else) are also welcome!
