Sims Life Stories Custom Content Installation

About Sims

Follow below steps to install the custom content you downloaded for your Sims Life Stories game.

For various objects, floors, walls, other building mode items, CAS items, etc.

  • Manually create a Downloads folder, for example “\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims™ Life Stories\Downloads”
  • Copy the package files (uncompressed) in the Downloads folder.
  • You can create sub-folders - within the Downloads folder - to organize your downloads and keep better track of them.

For residential and community lots

  • Have a look in your game's LotCatalog folder: \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims™ Life Stories\LotCatalog
  • There should be files in it with names like cx_00000001, cx_00000002, etc.
  • See what the name is of the last one and rename the downloaded file using the next consecutive number. For example, if the last one is cx_00000006, you should name the package you downloaded cx_00000007.
  • Copy the package file (with the new name) in the LotCatalog folder.
  • Start your game. You can find the downloaded lot in the Lots & Houses Bin and can place it in your chosen Neighborhood.

About Sims Transfer

I will upload all my creations here. That means uploading +/-3.500 files... and many, many more images. It will take quite some time... I will give priority to The Sims 4 meshes and The Sims 4 downloads in general. The Sims 2 downloads will follow, then The Sims 1 (because they are just a few). Anything else will follow in whatever order I see more convenient. As for News, Screenshots and Tutorials, the priority will be to add fresh content. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

- All Sims4 and Sims1 creations are now uploaded.

- All Sims3 creations are now uploaded.
- Transfer of Sims2 creations is in progress.
