The Sims: Hot Date

The Sims Hot Date is the third expansion pack and brought the following additions:

New NPCs (Non-Playable Characters)

• Claire the Bear: You will see Claire the Bear digging into your trash can.
• Performers: You might meet various performers Downtown, such as guitarists, pianists, violinists, etc. Their goal is to make your date unforgettable.
• Miss Crumplebottom: She is some old maid who cannot tolerate any intimacies, probably because of jealousy, and will smack you with her purse if she happens to see you involved in a romantic relationship.
• Townies: Downtown, the new neighborhood, brings to life the townies. They are non-playable characters, but your Sims can interact with them and marry them. This will make them playable. So, if you do like the pizza delivery guy or girl you should go after him/her.
• Waiters and waitresses: They work Downtown.

Other New Features

• Downtown: This expansion brought a whole new “view” in your game; Downtown! It’s a new neighborhood but you cannot live there. It’s the perfect “neighborhood” to take out your sweetie and enjoy some quality time together. Have a look to what Downtown looks like → The Sims: Hot Date Neighborhood
• Two new bars invade your control panel, these of daily and lifetime relationship status.
