
Here are a couple of things regarding fishing skills in Sims 3. The mentioned baits just increase your chances of catching a specific fish. Personally, I haven’t used any vegetables as bait but still caught all kind of fishes, making my Sims happy both by fulfilling their wishes and by increasing their income…Skill Level 0

- Just few of the things I have caught up to now: guitar, gnome, laptop, world’s brew bubble bath, ducksworth of bathington, mood-lite candle, death flower seed, flame fruit seed, birthday inferno birthday cake.
- Quality and worth increase as your fishing skill increases.
- Best bargain is the gnomes, you can sell each one for +/- 1000 simoleons!!!

- Attend fishing lessons by Taking Classes that are available at the grocery store
- Read books about fishing and bait, you can buy them from the bookstore
- Practice and more practice!
