Sims3 Custom Content Installation

Follow below steps to install any custom content which is in Sims3Pack format to Sims 3:

• Extract the file if it was compressed
• Double click on the Sims3Pack file to install
• Sims 3 Launcher will open, and the installation process will start
• When installation is finished click the OK button
• You are done!!!

If you have more than one file to install you may do the following:

• Extract the files if they were compressed
• Copy the extracted Sims3Pack files to your downloads folder. This is located at ../Documents/Electronics Arts/The Sims3/Downloads or at the custom path you installed your game*
• Open Sims 3 Launcher and go to the Downloads section
• Mark the downloads you wish to install by clicking on them in turn, and then click the install button. A new pop-up window will open, showing the progress of your installations and if they were successful or not
• When installation is finished click the OK button
• You are done!!!

You may check if the new downloads show under the Installed Content section of the Launcher.

* Notes:

• You can keep your downloads organized by creating several folders and sub-folders in your downloads folder so you can easily trace your downloads if needed later. Unfortunately, you can do this only after the installation as the Launcher only "sees" the downloads copied to the main downloads folder (1st level).
• You may also delete the Sims3Pack files you just installed from the downloads folder if you want. I would suggest though to back up these files in case you want to install again in the future and avoid spending your time downloading again.
